In many ways the world has evolved into a reasonably civilized place particularly in many parts of the western world over the past few centuries. We tend to treat people overall with respect and we try to care for and protect those who cannot perhaps look after themselves as well as they should. ( I know you can cite hundreds or thousands of instances of injustice, or police brutality etc ) and as a collective society we are thrilled to witness the advances in education in places like Afghanistan and throughout Africa and India.
Our world is evolving and improving today at a much more rapid pace as so many who were oppressed by men or religion or both now have access in their communities to inexpensive mobile smart phones and smart young and old women everywhere are learning at a faster pace than ever before.

The Online Porn Problem Identified
When the internet was first truly introduced to the masses less than 20 years ago with the launch of Netscape, politicians and community leaders for the most part did not either understand it or certainly did not understand its implications. Leaders (including President Clinton at the time) were told to sit down with 20 something whiz kids and learn about the internet. It was these 20 somethings who guided the leaders decisions to not interfere with the freedom of the internet which by and large was not bad advice…….with the exception of the need to control porn (and perhaps online gaming).
The first problem is the politicians and their inherent laziness and fear of taking action. (this is not new)
The second problem are the left wing educators who delude themselves in to believing than the half of the world with IQ’s under 100 have a hope in hell of supervising their children on the internet.
The third problem are teenage boys.
Problem one, the politicians do not really understand the internet, they are relying on others to inform them how it works, and all of the special interest groups lobby for no interference and no regulation. And most politicians would likely have a hard time explaining why the FCC or the CRTC exist.
Problem two, the educators and their mouthpieces are suggesting that people have the ability to supervise their children learning at home. (for 50% or more of the population this is simply not true, just look at the success of KIPP https://vimeo.com/102245560 ) the average person has more than enough difficulty and certainly those in the bottom half of the intelligence spectrum should not be asked to rely on some nonsense like Net Nanny type of content control software. It is frankly absurd, very few adults have 1/100th the handle on how to use proxy servers to access free movies or music the way their children do. Problem three may be the biggest problem Teenage Boys and girls and 8, 9 and 10 year olds everywhere. There is a reason the creators of SouthPark base much of their shows interaction on the behaviour of 9 year old boys https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park They have very little sense and virtually no feelings of remorse or control.
Typically in a parenting situation Mr. and Mrs. Helicopter parent(s) are so proud of their neurosis, their adorable little child who is so clever and knows how to use the internet all by themselves! So Mr. and Mrs. Helicopter send little Johnny who is 9 to play at the neighbours house with little Timmy who is also 9….except little Timmy has an older brother Damien and Damien is 13 and frankly has little more sense than Timmy or Johnny but Damien thinks it is historical to try to shock Timmy and Johnny whenever he can and Damien’s greatest source of shock value comes from his best friend Tabitha who has an older brother named Hannibal.
Hannibal like many teenage boys is a porn addict and frankly a bit of a freak, in Hannibal’s typical week of life (168 hours) he has about 20 hours of school and he spends the rest of his time dreaming about being famous getting laid someday and searching for a watching the most disturbing porn he can find. Naturally he shares the grossest and most disturbing stuff with his sister Tabitha and her friends, he is a couple of years older and Damien thinks Hannibal is experienced and although he doesn’t really understand much of the stuff Tabitha and Hannibal show him he thinks it is funny to show the most bizarre sex and porn videos to Timmy and Johnny. Damien has also told Timmy and Johnny hundreds of times that all girls love rough sex, love to be slapped, prefer anal sex and prefer to have men come on their faces…..this is all several years before Timmy and Johnny know what come is and 6 or 7 years before some lame teacher in school presents some absurd sex ed course.
